Community Guidelines

CapsiCore is created to be a trusted professional space where people can present their skills, share achievements, receive constructive feedback, and collaborate within teams and communities. With Live CVs, ratings and reviews, intranet spaces, and community forums, the platform encourages honesty, accountability, and meaningful professional growth.

To maintain this environment, these Community Guidelines outline the behaviour expected from all members. They combine basic professional values with strict measures against harmful activities, ensuring CapsiCore remains a safe and reliable platform.

1. Authenticity and Identity

Building trust begins with being authentic. Every member should present themselves honestly and maintain accurate records of their professional background.

  • Real profiles: All personal, CV, and organisational pages must represent genuine individuals or legitimate organisations.
  • No impersonation: Misleading others by pretending to be someone else is not allowed.
  • Accurate details: Skills, qualifications, and achievements must be truthful and, where possible, supported with evidence.
  • Account integrity: Accounts are personal; do not share, trade, or sell them.

2. Professional Conduct

CapsiCore is designed for meaningful professional exchange. Courtesy and respect are central to every interaction.

  • Respectful dialogue: Speak and respond politely, even when opinions differ.
  • No harassment: Threats, bullying, or intimidation will not be accepted.
  • No discrimination: Attacks based on race, religion, gender, disability, nationality, or other protected attributes are not tolerated.

3. Safety and Well-Being

Everyone should feel secure while using CapsiCore. The platform must never be used to promote harm or endanger others.

  • No violence: Content that praises or encourages violence or crime is banned.
  • No extremist groups: Organisations or individuals linked to violent or dangerous activity are not allowed.
  • Healthy discussions: Content that encourages self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating is prohibited.
  • No criminal planning: The platform must not be used to coordinate unlawful behaviour.

4. Privacy and Security

Respecting privacy and safeguarding accounts is essential for trust. Members must protect their own information and avoid exposing others without consent.

  • Respect confidentiality: Do not share private details such as addresses, ID numbers, or financial information.
  • Strong cybersecurity: Hacking, phishing, spreading malware, or scraping data is banned.
  • No fake activity: Avoid bots, false accounts, or other artificial engagement.
  • Account memorialisation: Families may request respectful preservation of a deceased member's account.

5. Integrity of Content

The value of CapsiCore depends on accurate and relevant contributions. Misleading or harmful content undermines the professional community.

  • No misinformation: Do not spread false claims that could damage reputations or careers.
  • No scams: Fraudulent jobs, phishing attempts, or financial deception are forbidden.
  • No spam: Repetitive or irrelevant promotions and bulk messaging reduce quality.
  • No disturbing content: Graphic, violent, or shocking imagery must not be shared.
  • No explicit material: Sexually exploitative content is not permitted.

6. Fair Use of Platform Resources

Shared tools must be used responsibly to benefit all members.

  • No system overload: Avoid activities that disrupt intranet spaces, shared drives, or communication tools.
  • Share responsibly: Upload files and media in a way that respects bandwidth and access for others.
  • No automation abuse: Scripts, bots, or tools that distort natural use of the platform are not allowed.

7. Global Respect and Local Awareness

CapsiCore connects members across countries and cultures. Respect for diversity is essential.

  • Be culturally aware: Avoid remarks or imagery that could insult cultural, religious, or regional values.
  • Obey the law: Alongside CapsiCore's standards, you must follow the legal requirements of your location.
  • Inclusive conversations: Encourage empathy, fairness, and positive cross-cultural dialogue.

Enforcement and Consequences

The Community Guidelines are in place to protect everyone who uses CapsiCore. To ensure the platform remains safe and professional, we take violations seriously. Our approach to enforcement balances fairness with the need to act quickly when harm or disruption occurs.

  • Content removal: If content entries break these rules, they may be edited, hidden, or fully removed. This helps prevent the spread of harmful, misleading, or unsafe information.
  • Account restrictions: In some cases, an account may be temporarily limited. This can mean reduced visibility of content, suspension of messaging features, or restrictions on posting in communities and intranet spaces. Restrictions are usually applied when behaviour can improve with a warning.
  • Permanent suspension: Accounts that repeatedly ignore the guidelines, or that are involved in severe breaches such as harassment, fraud, exploitation, or impersonation, may be permanently banned. This step is taken to protect other members and to uphold trust across the network.
  • Reporting to authorities: When behaviour crosses into criminal or dangerous territory, for example, threats of violence, organised fraud, or other illegal activity; CapsiCore may share information with law enforcement or other relevant agencies.
  • Case review and appeals: In some situations, members may request a review if they believe action was taken unfairly. While not every action can be reversed, CapsiCore aims to apply rules consistently and transparently.

How to Report an Issue

We encourage members to raise concerns quickly so that harmful behaviour or unsafe content can be dealt with. Reports help us act promptly and maintain a safe space.

  • Report content directly: Use the "Report" option attached to a post, review, or profile to flag material that breaks the guidelines.
  • Report users: Profiles or accounts behaving in ways that breach community rules can be reported from their profile page.
  • Contact support: For sensitive matters such as harassment, impersonation, or exploitation, members can submit a request through the email info@capsicore.com.

Enforcement is not meant to silence voices but to protect the integrity of the community. By following the guidelines, members ensure that CapsiCore remains a trustworthy environment where professional growth and collaboration can flourish.
